During my work experience I have worked with Business Managers and the Hedge Fund Managers and surprisingly I feel more interested in their work than mine. If there are any Business gurus out there, please help me in shaping my career in the correct path.
I would like to become a hedge fund manager and deal with the intricacies and risk taking abilities of a Hedge Fund Manager. I am currently blank as I dont have any clue as to how to get onto that path. Few people suggested that I take up the FRM exam which could be a stepping stone in the Hedge Fund path. Honestly, I am blank and am willing to sacrifice a whole lot to get my career in something that i like to do...
Any help and advice..Need Advice to get in to the Hedge Fund Manager Career?
Hello,
I would be happy to help you out. I am a hedge fund consultant and am writing an article for Investopedia.com right now on how to become a hedge fund manager. I have written over 500 articles on hedge funds through my hedge fund blog - http://richard-wilson.blogspot.com
On this blog I actually have a whole hedge fund employment section here: http://richard-wilson.blogspot.com/2008/鈥?/a>
and an area about hedge fund jobs: http://richard-wilson.blogspot.com/2007/鈥?/a>
I hope this helps. You might look at earning your Chartered Hedge Fund Associate (CHA), CFA or CAIA designation - those can help depending on your areas of interest.
Hope this advice and linked articles help you out.
