Get fast passes on the rides that you can. Some rides will run out of fast passes early, so you should get them early as well. If a ride offers fast pass, you will more than likely need it to avoid long lines. If you go to get the fast pass and the line isn't long, get on and don't get a fast pass.
There is some really great dining inside of the parks. But if you want to save money go to some of the restaraunts that charge less than $10 per person. You will just get hamburgers and stuff, but it works if you are tight on money. You can also bring some snacks to eat if you aren't wanting to pay the higher prices you will find inside the park.
Be sure to take advantage of early entry if you can. You can get on some of the more popular rides before the parks fill up.
Kind of figure out what you definitely want to ride and see. This way you will know what to follow. More than likely you won't have a problem getting on everything as you would in Disney World, but it is still a good idea to have just in case it would be especially busy.
Be sure to bring a camera and/or camcorder to remember your trip with. It is so much fun and it is great to be able to look back on it years from now.
If you have kids, and sometimes even if you don't ;-) bring some little games to play. You could bring something like an electronic sudoku puzzle, disney trivia, etc. to play with while in line. It helps to pass the time and keep you occupied.
Finally, the most important thing, have fun! If you have the whole day planned out minute-by-minute you won't have fun. Just go and do whatever you can and enjoy yourself. It's vacation, you don't have to follow a schedule, you can do that at home.
Hope this helps. Have a great trip!I'm going to disneyland any advice on how to get the most out of it?
Buy your tickets before you get to the park (at a hotel, by web, etc.). Standing in line to buy a ticket can waste a lot of time.
Arrive early. I believe they start letting people in 30 minutes before the stated opening time, although the rides don't open early. You can use this time to explore Main Street.
The lines are often very short just before closing time, so stay until the end if you can.I'm going to disneyland any advice on how to get the most out of it?
Take all the fast passes...as much as you can, they are free, you get them at the entry of every ride. :)
get VIP passes. One year my boyfriend got those for us a we got most out of it with them. Plus you can save time a get on more rides!
Ride every ride, just enjoy yourself and have a great time. Get some autographs.
Sign up for the fast pass at all the rides. They give you a set time to come back to the ride and you don't have to wait in line.
Don't leave Disneyland without riding it's a small world.
It's always fun to take a group pic in front of the castle at the walt disney mickey mouse statue.
Find out what fast-pass is and try to organize your day so you can pick one up and go back later. FAST Pass = less time in line, and more time doing more.
Get a map and plan ahead. Decide what shows/parades you want to see and which rides you want to go on and create a ';game plan.'; Be ready to wait in lines. Don't just bring money for admission, be prepared for the high prices in the park for food and souveniers. Maybe if you're going with someone who isn't going on rides they could carry fold-up chairs or a picnic lunch. Or you could take turns riding and holding stuff. Also, I don't know if they still do this but several years ago when I went they had this neat thing where (for an extra price, of course) you could get in 1hr earlier, they serve a very nice breakfast, and open like 3 rides early. It's great because you've got the whole park to just this small group that signed up for it and there's like no waiting in line. Don't be too serious though, enjoy the imagination and have lots of fun.
Oh, and ignore that last guy about It's a Small World. After going on that ride if you ever hear the song again you'll go insane!
Get there early. As soon as they let you in run to the most popular ride first. Then u don't have to wait 3 hours for that one.
get a 4 day pass and make the most of it and go ride as many rides as you can and also have fun . i had the best time ever when i went three years ago
regards
