Be prepared to be unemployed most of the time as most actors are. Try and find an alternative way of earning money that will fit in with acting Has Anyone Got Any Advice To Become A Young Actor?
Dont make acting your only love...


Have something else you love to do as an alternative when you have slow acting times.





I know quite a few actors and this is the advise they give.





Also, get some really good pictures done of yourself.


In acting you will want different looks. As in clothing/atmosphere and expressions (best done with your eyes as if you were acting) are definately a plus. I have done headshots for both actors and models and it really is a different looking for.


Different as in... print work would be more about ';This is how good I can make your product look'; type picture.


And acting would be more about capturing the actors emotions on film.


I am kind of telling you all this because if you know someone (friend or relative) who can take GOOD pictures it will save you a few hundred $ in picture by giving them a shot.





Also, on top of getting pictures done you need an agent.


A good agent will NEVER ask for hundreds of $ from you. Watch out if they are. You can be 99.9% sure if they are, it is a scam and you should RUN!!!

When you act, especially in plays, you dont want to let the audience see you make your next action before your done with the first. Be slow but paced, and use a solid voice. When you sing, get into the song and show your emotion. Get to know the character; study his/her/its personality and imitate it. Be natural too!
Make sure you are in a drama class definately.





Look for opening tryouts for commercials or anything like that.





You would probably have to go to a website and look for acting applications.


and you might have to be move to hollywood or something to get big and famous.
