I can direct you to a place that is dedicated to helping new and wanna-be drivers get the honest cold hard facts of the industry from actual drivers that are out there everyday. This group is over 400 members strong and even has a mentorship program in place for any new students that would care to have that extra little help. The group is free to join and if you should decide you don't like it you are free to leave. What have you got to lose? Why not come and check it out? Remember if you do it can sometimes take a couple of days to get an answer back to any questions you ask as these are real drivers and cannot always get to a computer or where they can get internet.
