My daughter has a fever that came out of nowhere. We can't get ahold of her doctor for advice so...?

what can she take(over the counter) to help break it? She cannot take any liquid medicine well(as we learned when she had a cold a few months ago.) What else can we do besides any medicine? My daughter has a fever that came out of nowhere. We can't get ahold of her doctor for advice so...?
depending on how high her temp is you may need to go to the er...to have some fever is ok that means its fighting off infections but if its presits then,,get medical helpMy daughter has a fever that came out of nowhere. We can't get ahold of her doctor for advice so...?
How old is she? How high is the fever?

Have you tried cold compresses?

Keep her hydrated.

Call the emergency room at your local hospital and ask what they think you should do.

If it is high enough, they may tell you to go to the hospital.
if you have her in blankets, take them off then only trap heat close to her and it will not brake the fever. take her clothes off of her, you can leave underwear/ diaper on. If she can drink juice, you can see if she'll drink that with meds in it. Tylenol and Motrin mix together work best, mix it with no more than 4oz of juice. Good luck. If the temp. is over 104 take her to the ER. if its under they do what I listed above. Happened with my 1 year old daughter
don't give her any fever reducers unless her fever is over 103 degrees and if it is then take her to the hospital
How high is the fever? Sometimes fevers are no big deal.
