Trying to get pregnant!! any advice is welcome!!!?

Hi, i am trying to understand all of this pregnancy stuff. ovulatoin is something i really never took time to understand until now that is!!! so if the first day of my last menstral was july 1st, i should be ovulating lnow, right???what else should i do to get pregnant???besides a healthy diet, excrcise what else should i be doing????Trying to get pregnant!! any advice is welcome!!!?
The simplest thing you can do is to monitor your cycles. Note the day you start your period (cycle day 1) and how many days until the onset of your next period. Average female experiences 27-30 day cycles. You can ovulate anywhere within the middle of your cycle, usually cycle day 12-16 if you are normal. You can use ovulation predictor kits, which will tell you about 24 hours before ovulation. You can check for cervical mucus, which shows up a few days before ovulation or the day of ovulation. You could also check your basel body temperature, but it isn't recommended by most doctors because you will have to do it for a few cycles to find your pattern and the temperature change isn't noticable until AFTER you actually ovulate.

The egg stays alive for about 24-48 hours after ovulation. Sperm can live about 3 days, up to 5 days. It is about a 2 day passage from the point of ejaculation to the egg. Intercourse is best starting a few days before ovulation, and the day of ovulation. Anything after or too early won't meet a live egg or will die before it gets a chance.

Exercise moderately. extreme exercise can interrupt your cycles and prevent ovulation, as well as causing impact stress on your ovaries (from running or biking a lot). Start taking prenatal viatmins. And RELAX!!! Stress is one of the worst causes of hormonal issues because the only cure is resting your mind.Trying to get pregnant!! any advice is welcome!!!?
Go buy an ovulation predictor test. Make sure you have your schedule down to a science. Knowing when you are supposed to start, and take prenatal vitamins just in case. Oh a massage to alleviate stress could do the trick. Don't try to hard because it just won't happen.
Start taking pre-natal vitamins.

There is an online chart that you can track your body temperature; i have done this.

Do you have insurance? If so, visit the doctor.
Oh I'm so excited to help you with this question!!!

I've been reading this great book, very detailed and explained everything that I had questions about. It's called, TAKING CHARGE OF YOUR FERTILITY. There are charts, info about our bodies, and how to tell when you're ovulating.

I've also found that the website, FERTILITY FRIEND, is a great site to chart your temperatures it you don't want to use the paper/pencil charting from that book.

Good luck!
If your last menstrual was July 1st you already ovulated, its usually about 12-14 days after LMP. You would have noticed the CM and feeling ';wet';. Right now you would be in your two week wait stage. You could still have a chance, so if you'd like, start having sex today and then maybe every other day until your period.

Just try to relax and not think abou it too much...I know its hard to do that since, if you're like me, you end up here everyday.
I absolutly LOVE these 2 sites check them out!

two week wait has ttc boards so you can get info on everything you need!

Free basal body temp charts too!

Goodluck!
