Anyone have any advice on how to get texting?

Ok well i have been asking my dad for a while if i can get texting and he always say no for some stupid reason

never ask for help


and they think im to young

when i was in sixth grade and most of my friends and I have texting, so I doubt you are too young. Try to show responsibility and start doing extra chores and stuff to gain trust and then bring it up again. Say that a good way to comunicate and keep up with how social you are is to text.

study hard and get really good grades on your next couple tests.


ask for help around the house, do a couple extra chores and do everything right.


then stop whining and acting like a baby, and mature some.


that will show them that their reasons are no longer reasons and that they should give you texting =D
Maybe get better grades. But it may also be the cost. Right now people are trying to save money because the economy is bad. But you may not realize that because you are young.
